Nourish Coach, Jared Levy, Featured in American Cinematographer
Before coaching filmmakers through the interpersonal realities of the industry, Jared Levy spent years working as a cinematographer across narrative, documentary, and commercial filmmaking, navigating the pressures and complexities that come with high-level creative work.
His cinematography on The Last Fisherman, directed by Shal Ngo, was featured in American Cinematographer. The dystopian sci-fi short premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was shot in demanding conditions along Vietnam’s South China Sea, requiring the kind of adaptability, leadership, and problem-solving that rarely appears in the final frame.
Experiences like these have shaped Jared’s perspective on filmmaking: talent matters, but long-term careers are often built on how people communicate, lead, navigate pressure, and show up for others.
